Teachers Board Exam (LET) Result October 2009

Manila, Philippines. The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that 8,045 elementary teachers out of 43,086 examinees (19%), 26 Accelerated Teacher Education Program (A.T.E.P.) graduates out of 146 examinees (18%) and 10,792 secondary teachers out of 38,339 examinees (28%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T) given by the Board for Professional Teachers on October 4, 2009 in 23 testing centers all over the Philippines.

The Board for Professional Teachers is composed of Dr. Brenda B. Corpuz, officer-in-charge, Dr. Josefina T. Cunanan, vice-chairperson, Dr. Flordeliza P. Mayari and Dr. Norma A. Adamos, members.

The results of examination with respect to two thousand eight hundred sixteen (2,816) examinees were withheld as per Board Resolution Nos. 34 & 35 (A) dated October 30, 2009, No. 38 dated November 5, 2009 and Nos. 42 & 44 dated November 13, 2009, Series of 2009.

R.A. No. 7836 known as the “Philippine Teachers Professionalization Act of 1994” States: “Every registrant shall be required to take his professional oath before practicing as a professional teacher” (Sec. 18). Mass oath taking for the LET passers are organized by the Board.

Oath taking tickets are available at the Office of Professional Teachers, 3rd Floor, PRC Annex Building for NCR and Region IV passers starting November 18, 2009 (Wednesday) and at the PRC regional offices for the passers from the other regions.

Reports of Rating will be distributed to successful examinees on the day of the oath taking ceremonies, except for N.C.R. and Region IV.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be announced later.
Those who will register are required to bring the following:

duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
current Community Tax Certificate (cedula)
2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag
1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete nametag)
2 sets of metered documentary stamps
and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession
and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2009-2012.

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Anonymous said...: just want to share everybody that the Lord is really with us..I am not physically stable at that time because of an illness and i just submit myself to Him, I give to Him my full trust and with His blessing now I pass the exam. I could hardly remember what happened during the exam all in my mind was I really felt terrible with my health condition..and at that time I could remember some instances that I am not the one answering it's Him. Thanks Lord! Cograts to all of us who pass and for those who are not, you did your best also just trust Him all the time, He is really there for us..

FAR OUT TALAGA KAHIT GUMAWA NG EXAM BAKA DI KAYA SAGUTIN!Di mo maituturo sa mga High School na mga estudyante! ma pra-praning sila!Nag bigay ng calculus at mahihirap na formula to solve an equation. ano naman kayo mga gumagawa ng exams. we're not engineers para pahirapan nyo kami ng ganun. yung reality lang naman sana, we're just bachelors in secondary education and we are going to teach high school students not tertiary or masteral degree. I am consistent in getting high grades in my math subjects during my shool days kaya di ako makapaniwala na sobra akong nahirapan sa exam because far out talaga yung LET 2009 exam ng math! if only you would give an idea na ganun ang mga exams then we might as well review for that kind of math exams. ang dami ko na mga reviewers for math pero 5% lang and lumabas. Far out talaga kayo mga gumaga ng exams sa prc. i don't believe that marami kaming papasa na mga math majors. swerte nalang mga yung papasa. for those who will say that it was easy siguro nabigyan ng likage mga yan.
