No. 7836 known as the “Philippine Teachers Professionalization Act of 1994” States: “Every registrant shall be required to take his professional oath before practicing as a professional teacher” (Sec. 18). Mass oath taking for the LET passers are organized by the Board. The dates and venues of mass oath taking are given below:

Oathtaking tickets are available at the Office of Professional Teachers, 3rd Floor, PRC Annex Building for NCR and Region IV passers starting November 18, 2010 (Thursday) and at the PRC regional offices for the passers from the other regions.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be announced later. The requirements for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card (ID) are the following: 1) duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal; 2) latest Community Tax Certificate (Cedula); 3) 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 4) 2 pieces 2” x 2” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 5) metered documentary stamp for the Oath Form; and 6) the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2010-2013. Successful examinees should PERSONALLY register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals .

Is it necessary that we will attend the oat taking in the PRC office where we apply? Or we can go for the oat taking nearest to our present address where we are located?
I have a problem with the day of the oat taking where the PRC I applied with. I can't make it during Saturday because I am a Seventh Day Adventist. Can i attend in other places that is not Saturday?

I observed that PRC Iloilo is not conducive place for their clients because of crowded situation and very hot temperature inside the building. I hope they could cater good place in the future.
I really hope PRC Iloilo could post when can we start applying for the license and the registration for oath taking as well. All of the other regions had already done Mass Oath takings and yet Region IV is still hanging on the air...
